One duffle bag, a six hour car ride, a lot of deepher lovin’ and adventure later I was in Anderson, South Carolina for the four day weekend! Taking my letters and love to another state was such an amazing experience to say the least! Nothing but sunshine, a breath of crisp fresh air is all I needed to put a smile on my face (January is overrated, right?) The weekend consisted of long runs through town, looking at cute southern belle shops (with the most adorable monograms), some of the best food I’ve ever tasted, and a hike with Mother Nature.

My favorite adventure included was one of the most gorgeous hikes of my life. Five miles later I was able to see one of the largest waterfalls in South Carolina, accompanied by some new freckles and beautiful scenery. Forty stories high and nothing but beauty stood in front of me, and in that moment I couldn’t help but feel  so blessed (in more ways than one.) I was reminded of how much beauty is in the world around us; whether it is nature, friendships, sisters, or even the fact I had the opportunity to travel, I am a living, breathing little gingersnap just enjoying the road ahead. This trip was a realistic reminder of how short life really is, and we are meant to enjoy every split second we have!  So wear your letters and be proud of the woman you are through this wonderful organization, stay out too late with your sisters making some of the best memories of your life, craft for your Little, love your Big, and love your sisters with kindness and grace because these are the moments we are going to treasure. Throw up what you know!
